How to permanently delete your account

To permanently delete your account within the game:
- Launch the game, and tap on the title screen to reach the Home Screen.
- From the Home Screen, access the settings menu by tapping on the button on the top right corner of the screen.
- In the account section of the settings, tap on the ‘Delete account’ button.
- Type 'DELETE' in the edit box and confirm.

You can also request the deletion of your account by reaching the game support team at public@popscreen.io.

What happens when you permanently delete your account

Your game save will be permanently deleted from our servers. It will no longer be possible to resume your game, even by contacting the game support team.

In this case, depending on the data type and legal or technical contraints, here’s what happens with your data:

Data immediately and permanently removed:
- Game account and all related game data
- All data tracked for analytics purpose
- All data tracked for marketing purpose

Data retained for a period of 6 months:
For legal reasons, we keep the following data for a duration of 6 months:
- Chat messages sent within guilds

Data retained:
For legal reasons, we keep the following data:
- Purchase history
For technical reasons, we keep the following data:
Leaderboard rankings (in which case the player appears as ‘Unknown Player’)
